Year in Review - Battlefields

via TJC

“Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident… I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:1-3, 13

“The Angle” is just one of the pivotal venues in the Battle of Gettysburg

THE JOSHUA COMMISSION BUILDS DISCIPLE MAKERS

I have never sat around a campfire on a cool evening in the company of my brothers in TJC without realizing the extraordinary faithfulness and goodness of communion with our great God. I have never stood on a battlefield, be it Fredericksburg, Manassas, Gettysburg, or Chickamauga without experiencing life-changing growth. What a joy to realize that, in the worst of conditions and through literal hell on earth, men lifted up the cross of Christ in 1863 just as the men of TJC do… together. This is what discipleship means.

A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER - BATTLEFIELD MANEUVERS

You will experience and have fun. You will eat like kings. You will be challenged… and that’s not even the best part. As we move through the stages of a Civil War conflict, you will better understand the connection between military warfare and spiritual warfare, and in doing so you will move closer to becoming the man of God you are destined to become. You will become a disciple-maker. There is no better legacy to leave to a lost and wandering generation. Let’s do it!

2023 presents some incredible opportunities for us as we move forward. Don’t miss the

opportunity to join us in building the Kingdom through brotherly love, fun, and lifelong

friendships.
