This month we celebrate Women’s History Month.

Of all the things we celebrate as a country, I think we can all agree that a God-fearing woman is one of the most valuable things we can celebrate.

As men, we tend to carry a lot in our day to day. It can be easy to overlook or even take for granted a wonderful wife and all she is and does. I know my wife wears more hats than I do, for sure. She is my most valuable treasure on this earth. I know I would be a different kind of man if not for her and her loving encouragement. She pushes me WAY outside of my comfort zone. When I get lazy in my walk with the Father, she is there with encouragement and never judgment.

“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and her smile is toward the coming day. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the teaching of kindness. She watches well over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many wives have done virtuously, but you surpass them all.’ Charm is deceitful, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭25‬-‭30‬ ‭MEV‬‬

I’m sure we all have an example of a virtuous woman in our lives or, at some point, have. Most women are the glue that holds their families together. While you go through your busy day today, think on these women in your life. Maybe even reach out and thank them and let them know that they are loved and appreciated.

Today I thank you, Heavenly Father, for the women that you put on this earth that make it a better place. Thank you for seeing that it was not good for man to be alone and for giving us such a gift of companionship. Thank you for the virtuous women in this world. Help us to notice them. Help us to recognize their service and sacrifices. In an age of lovers of selves, Father, please continue to create and grow Proverbs 31 women. In Your Holy Name we pray, Amen!
