Congratulations again for participating in the Bible adventure, and putting into place the strongest foundation for you and your family. Now through all of 2024 we will be framing out our first ministry - in our homes. Our DBOs will be written for you to share with your wife, your kids, your parent, your niece or nephew, with daily actions that help us in our daily goal to “Be Holy”.
This week we share with you about The Joshua Commission and why we want to be part of your life.
We anchor in two major commands
From God to His general Joshua to be strong and courageous.
From Jesus to His disciples to go and baptize and build disciple as He did.
Imagine an 80 year old man, who has seen all of God’s miracles escaping slavery in Egypt. He was then ignored when Caleb and Joshua reported all the promises across the river. Who is then selected after 40 years in the wilderness to lead several million young men and women into God’s promise. Joshua was one obedient, tough and loving man- who would then fight across the land claiming God’s inheritance.
THAT SAME CALL, A COMMAND IS ON YOUR LIFE. TJC knows we can not do that alone, so a small group of men has grown to help each other and you to claim your inheritance.
Daily Battle Order - Write down two things today and share them with
your family.
Where have you felt enslaved/chained/held back and maybe even given up hope?
Where have you had to fight, maybe still fighting for God's promises.
We start this river crossing with the same words - time for all of us to be strong and courageous in humility and vulnerability with our family.
