Who is your God?

via TJC

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.  He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.”  Revelation 21:3

During the course of this week we will be focusing on questions that have to do with restoration.  The restoration of Genesis Chapter 3 fulfilled in Revelation Chapter 21.  Who is your God? (Revelation 21:3). Who Conquered death? (Revelation 21:4). Who is on the throne? (Revelation 21:5). Whose heritage? (Revelation 21:7). What does the Lord require? (Micah 6:8). And most importantly, do I act like I believe that the answers to these questions are true?

So, the question today is, Who is your God?  Is it fame, fortune, 401K, or something or someone else, or, is it the God of the universe who thought of you before He founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within you (Zechariah 12:1)?

There is an inscription, written in stone, embedded in a wall at the entrance of a school that is in the city that I live in.  It reads “Man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.”  This is known as the Westminster Catechism or Confession.  This inscription is clearly visible when at the “T” roadway intersection that leads into the main entrance of this school.  It has been purposely placed there for those who are at this intersection to see it, as a thought provoking landmark call to action, requiring a decision to be made that offers a means of restoration.

Daily Battle Order:

The restoration that has been, is being, and will be given by the Lord requires our active response and belief in the truth of who God is and who we are in Him.  He is with us, He has conquered death, He is making all things new, He has given us a heritage, and He requires us to respond by seeking and walking humbly with Him.  This is a continuum; a progression, started by the One true God, for you to experience.

Kingdom men and women, we are given a choice by He who created us.  He who is the One and the only true God.  Choosing Him is a choice for life now, here on this earth, and into eternity in heaven.  Life now is short.  Eternity is forever.  Choose life that you may live (Deuteronomy 30:19).

"And most importantly, do I act like I believe that the answers to these questions are true?" I've been pondering what I believe, acting on what I believe really cuts to the heart and eliminates all doubt.
