“Teacher, what is the great commandment in the Law? And He said to him, you shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, and with all of your soul and with all of your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22: 36-39
We opened up this weeks series of DBO’s with a Valentine’s Day prayer. It set the stage for not only who is in the Kingdom but most importantly, what are our responsibilities in the Kingdom. Our responsibilities in the Kingdom are spelled out in the scripture above. Consider the final statement Jesus makes concerning these commandments; “On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22: 40
Straightforward and to the point. These are our responsibilities as Kingdom Men.

Do you like the man God has made you to be? Do you like yourself? If you don’t like yourself then how can you possibly love yourself? If you can’t love yourself how can you possibly fulfill the second commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself”? Men are commanded to love! “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” Ephesians 6:25
In the Kingdom of God, Kingdom Men are commanded to be lovers!
“I am a Kingdom Man with a Kingdom Vision. Commissioned by Christ. My life is the Father’s. I am intentional. I will grow in my faith, be consistent in my actions and leave a legacy worthy of the race I have run” TJC Creed
So, Kingdom Man, how’s your love life?
“But now abide faith, hope, and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13: 13
