But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Jude 1:20-21
This week we focused heavily on the consequences for those who deny God. They have an eternity of pain ahead if they do not repent since, at the very least, they ignored God and at the most, openly opposed Him. It can get disheartening to see so many turn their backs on God, ignoring these consequences. So what are we to do in such a fallen world? How are we to live and find meaning? Jude has the answer! We are to build! We are to grow in faith and build up those around us who are willing to listen to help them understand and accept the path to eternal life with God. As a parent, I know one day I will send my children out into the fallen world to make their own decisions and reap the consequences of their actions. Instead of being crippled by anxiety I am at peace, teaching them a foundation of faith and skills to increase their chances of succeeding. I pray for them and their future spouses and families asking God to bless their endeavors and I offer them to God, for him to teach them even more and guide their decisions.
Daily Battle Order:
Today, kneel and put yourself in God’s care. Give Him any thoughts that are troubling you and ask for His guidance and strength. Take time to let God’s peace permeate you and then put on the armor of God and face the day as a Kingdom builder!    Â
