Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.2 Timothy 2:15
I have to work in exchange for money, because we have bills to pay. Some days at work are good. Sometimes, I hate my job. I want to share one thing that I am constantly doing, no matter what, that brings me joy: I am an active and opportunistic vessel for the Holy Spirit.
Is there conflict? Heal it. Stop being harsh.
Before you meet with others, say a silent prayer that the other person will see Jesus through your eyes, and then really really listen to them.
Do you see someone struggling? Help them secretly and feel the love of the Father as you see them thrive.
Did your work team’s plans fall apart? Be the spirit of reconciliation and yes, the first one to wash another’s feet.
Be a hunter at work and with your actions for God to do HIS work…through you.
Daily Battle Order:
At work, adopt a “Father, here’s my chance!” attitude regarding showing others what it means to love - to be patient - forgiving - compassionate.
Start a new work to-do list - just for you and the Holy Spirit. Resolve to always be adding tasks to that to-do list.
Remember one of TJC’s favorite sayings “Love Does”. What can you DO at work to LOVE others? Pause right now and think of one thing or one person.
Join us June 11th and learn how knowing the beginning from the end would have helped the armies of the North and the South at The First Battle of Manassas (Bull Run), and how knowing the beginning from the end helps us today to have Victory in our lives.
God stated that we are to “create and cultivate“ that goes beyond people. God bless the professionals who build homes, cathedrals, great works of art.
