“It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.“ Luke 17:2 (NIV)
“So watch yourselves.
If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them“ Luke 17:3
On an October morning at 0420 I got a knock on my door. It was the knock that every parent dreads. Two detectives from a neighboring jurisdiction arrived to tell me that my baby girl was no longer with us.
Although the memories of the conversation, their facial expressions and demeanor are indelibly imprinted on my mind and soul …, I tip my hat and my heart to my Jesus – He made me numb. For the next few months I walked around as if I were using somebody else's mind and body and looking in at them from time to time. It is a great tragedy that similarly hundreds of thousands of parents and families suffer much the same way around the world. Drug and various kinds of human trafficking enslave, debase and destroy children all around the world. Too often many of us are grossly apathetic and unaware of the enemy all around us.
Our Lord in speaking to Sin, Faith and Duty says in the book of Luke (17:2): “It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.“ …, then he warns v3 “So watch yourselves:”
The heart of Jesus, then and even now, is to protect the little ones.
The kind of evil that goes after our children is a different kind of evil.
Satan and his minions know how much God values children and child-like faith. Many of the organizations and nefarious operations are headed by satanists and pedophiles. Human trafficking for sexual and labor enslavement, drug trafficking, trafficking for organ harvesting
and the sale of adrenochrome result in bondage, addictions, torture and death.
Guys, let us get in this fight. Let our King lead us, let us engage the “enemy within” at multiple points of contact and locations to protect and prevent the continual suffering of the children and families.
Daily Battle Order:
Re-read Luke 17:2-3. Pause to think about your children and grandchildren. Now think about the incredible harm that is taking place to our children. Dig in on the information about trafficking and drugs, as my story is unfortunately not unique. ( Virginia is 4th in the nation in human trafficking.)
Then decide a personal kingdom warrior strategy with your time talent and treasure Look into similar orgs like RESET 180 that are difference makers.
