The Lord of Hosts

via TJC

Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?” The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so. Joshua 5:13-14

What is it that you are really seeking? The Lord has all the keys. He told us how to live and how to be with ourselves, with others and with him.

Here we are on this side of the river. There he is, the commander of the army of the Lord. It is possible for a human to fail. It is possible to fall in battle. Otherwise, there would be no army.

There are rules to this battle and they are best suited for those who are ready to live the warrior’s life.

We’re not staying on this side of the river. Get up. Now. It’s time to cross.

Daily Battle Order:

Above us and our enemies is the Lord, master of all reality and everything that is real. Let us be strong and courageous. Have a great weekend. On Monday, be ready.
