I will be strong and courageous. I will train my mind and body for the battles to come.

The storms of life can feel overwhelming, tossing us about like waves in a turbulent sea. To navigate these challenges effectively, we must first recognize our current position and then recalibrate our course toward our true destination.
What compass are you using?
· The World: Many rely on worldly standards, like Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, shaping their lives around material success and societal validation.
· God: Jesus instructs us to “Seek first the Kingdom,” suggesting a different orientation that prioritizes spiritual matters.
Most men are educated in worldly pursuits—intellectually and physically—aspiring to the “American Dream.” As we excel in singular endeavors, we often neglect other vital areas of our lives. This imbalance leaves our spiritual man underdeveloped. Like a child facing a champion, we may find ourselves ill-prepared when entering the spiritual arena.
Recognizing this imbalance is the first step toward rebalance.
Memento Mori—remember that you must die. As Solomon wisely noted, “Like the fool, the wise too must die” (Ecclesiastes 2:16). This reality should prompt a spiritual reboot.
Just as an athlete rigorously trains for competition, we must dedicate a defined period to intense spiritual pursuit. We need to clear the weeds that choke out God’s presence in our lives and till the fallow ground of our hearts.
Engage in prayer, fasting (from food, social media, or distractions), meditate on Scripture, and spend time in nature. This is your spiritual gym.
This journey toward balance requires commitment. Don’t aim to make time; instead, ask God for the courage to eliminate vain pursuits. The storms of life won’t cease, but God promises peace amidst them, which is our true strength.
Start small, adding to your training incrementally. God doesn't expect perfection overnight. Day by day, He will build your inner man into a solid foundation, enabling you to be a strong witness and warrior for Him in life’s ring, fighting for souls.
THE KINGDOM MAN’S CREED
I am a Kingdom Man. I am created by God to bear His image. I am a son and viceroy for my Fathers work. I am a warrior, lover, teacher and king.
I am a Kingdom Man. Like Joshua, I will be strong and courageous. I will train my mind and body for the battles to come. I will discipline my heart, eyes and tongue to be steadfast and faithful to the calling on my life.
I am a Kingdom Man. If a husband, I love and serve my wife, if a father, a loving father to my children. I will love and lead them as Christ loves the Church. If a brother, uncle, guardian, mentor or friend, I will give honor in all of my relationships. I will lead, teach, correct and train in the spirit of righteousness.
I am a Kingdom Man. I am called to break down barriers and free others from strongholds. I am a Peace Maker. My armor is Truth, Righteousness, Grace and Humility. I will stand in the gap for my neighbor to defend gospel justice for the marginalized.
I am a Kingdom Man. God is my provider. He has given me gifts and talents to exemplify Him with the work of my hands. I will work with diligence and excellence. My labor will be honest and its fruits purposeful.
I am a Kingdom Man with a Kingdom vision. Commissioned by Christ. My life is the Father’s. I am intentional. I will grow in my faith, be consistent in my actions and leave a legacy worthy of the race I have run.
I AM a Kingdom Man!
