Exodus: Flight Or Fight

via TJC

“The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My Father’s God, and I will extol Him. The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His name.” Exodus 15:2-3

In yesterday’s DBO we saw the Israelites grumbling because their backs were to the wall, well, to the sea, and they saw no way out! They were scared. Then, they saw the “great power which the Lord had used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and His servant Moses.” Exodus 14:31

There are thousands of people in the same predicament today! They’re at our southern border, from many different countries risking everything to come to America. They’re risking it all for the hope of a better life.

There are thousands of people in the Ukraine learning to be citizen warriors, fighting to hold onto their country and the things they love, like their family, friends, and the democracy they’re willing to die for.

Today, we are in a battle! Personally, my battle is fantasy. Cartoons and stories that promote forced feminization and domination. While it’s not pornography it’s just as debilitating because of the time wasted and the self-indulgence it promotes. Coming to terms with this and fighting it means a change in my behaviors and sacrifice. It means becoming a warrior and fighting.

Daily Battle Order:

God has set the example for us; He is a warrior! Jesus will be coming on a white horse and wages war! “And He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of God.” Revelation 19:13

It’s time to see ourselves as God sees us, His warriors! Become the warrior God has created and fight for your Kingdom and God’s Kingdom!
