Employee Appreciation Day

Colossians 3:23 (NIV): "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters".

It’s fun seeing all the special days in our American calendar. Some silly, and others serious - but all opportunities to talk about Christ and our faith in any scenario. 

Today is an opportunity to tell your employees how much you appreciate their efforts. Many of us though don’t have an employee but you have a boss. A great strategy as an employee is managing your boss - that means you do have a lot of control on how your boss perceives you and your talents. That  includes your faith - does your boss know that you do your best to glorify our God? 

Daily Battle Order: Today pray going into work and then thank your employees, or go out of your way and thank your boss for their leadership and environment they set that enables employees to do their best. 

You may not believe that about your boss or the people who work for you - but the environment will change when you pray and speak into it and people in it.
