Dad I Get to Be

via TJC

I was asked what did I do yesterday that was different than the day before and I replied honestly and jokingly that I brought 2 life jackets to the hotel swimming pool so that my boys could swim without fear of drowning. Without a doubt my oldest son pulls his brother off the steps to get him in the water and he wasn’t getting water in his mouth because of the life jacket, but because he was frantically freezing his arms and legs and dipping his head just enough to get water to go in. We paused for a few seconds to see if he would get it together, but it was really nice to be able to grab the oh snap handle! This is how God has helped me on my journey towards being a provider. I do not have all the abilities on my own but he allows me to step out even in the face of adversity knowing there will be times I will start to slip and sink however he will pull me up and out. The most important lesson that God teaches me as provided is that I get to be a provider and that it’s by His design and my purpose. I just have to show up and be present.

Daily Battle Order:

Where can you be a better provider to your family or prepare yourself to become a provider for your future family?
