Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
Matthew 6:19-21 NLT
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 NIV
The word ‘currency’ brings up thoughts of money and possessions here in the world. But Jesus is clear that anything we save up in this world is not permanent. He tells us to store up treasures in heaven (Kingdom Currency) where it will be permanent. But what does that look like today? Here and now? Sowing into God’s Kingdom efforts in our lives and in our world today is how we make deposits into our Kingdom accounts. We give in terms of time, talents and treasure but it isn’t about the amount of each of these that we give that matters to our Father. He values what is happening in your heart. God loves a cheerful giver no matter what or how much is given. The clearest indicator that you are storing up your treasure in the Kingdom will be the desires that dominate your heart.
Daily Battle Order:
Take time today to evaluate the way you are, or are not, storing up treasure in the Kingdom by how you are investing the time, talent and treasure God has given you. Are you sowing into the people, places and ministries that are teaching you how to follow Jesus? Think about and adjust your investment plan today.
'Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. '
Galatians 6:6-8 NKJV

"Kingdom Currency!" I love it! Helping your stressed friend move in to an apartment is worth 1 Kingdom Buck. Who's face is on the cover of the $1 Kingdom Buck? Why, Moses' of course! 😂
"For God loves a cheerful giver" !!!
