Communion Means Union. Union means Glory.

via TJC

“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.. John 17:20-23

We are Viceroys who will share in the glory of Christ because of:

  • The Price Jesus Christ paid (1 Thess. 5:9-10). “He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.”

  • The Promise that Jesus made (John 14:1-6). “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

  • The Prayer that Jesus Christ made (John 17:24). Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world

The Father always answers His Son’s prayers. Jesus Christ prayed to his father: “I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity.”  The only direction we were ever heading is complete unity with God. One with God. Communion means Union and Union means Glory. Stop over-thinking and run towards God.

Daily Battle Order:

Do Communion. Preferably with others but alone is fine. Use bread and wine / juice for the elements. Read 1 Corinthians 11:23-27 out loud:

  1. Examine your conscience.

  2. Thank Jesus Christ for the Price

  3. Claim the Promise of eternal life and the Prayer of Christ that his own will be one with him.

“The body of Christ. Amen. The blood of Christ. Amen.”
