I am a Kingdom Man. God is my provider. He has given me gifts and talents to exemplify Him with the work of my hands.

"The Lord said to Joshua, 'Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.'" This exemplifies God's presence and power as the ultimate provision that enables the work and calling of a Kingdom Man. - Joshua 3:7

It's not easy to hold your tongue when you are angry. It's not easy to choose patience when everyone around you is rushing. It's not easy to show grace when you've been wronged.

But if you start to think of yourself as an "example", it actually makes things easier.

When Joshua stepped into leadership, God told him that He would exalt him before the people. Why? So they would know that God was with Joshua just as He had been with Moses. Joshua didn't have to prove himself through his own striving. His example flowed from God's presence working through him.

The same is true for us. When we embrace the gifts and talents God has given us, when we recognize that He is our provider and that our work is an extension of His work, something shifts. We stop performing and start exemplifying. There's a difference between the two.

Are you exhausted? Performance is exhausting. It requires constant effort to maintain an image, to keep up appearances, to prove our worth. But being an example is sustainable because we let  God's character flow through our hands, our words, and our decisions. It becomes natural. It becomes easier.

Your family is watching. Your children are learning what it means to be a man by observing you. Your wife sees how you handle pressure, disappointment, and success. Your coworkers and neighbors notice whether your faith is real or rehearsed. When you stop trying to manufacture your own provision and instead let God provide through you, they see something authentic. Something they want.

This is the power of the skill we carry as Kingdom Men: God has given us gifts and talents to exemplify Him with the work of our hands. Not to glorify ourselves. We aren't supposed to be building our own kingdoms. We are supposed to be pointing others to the One who provides, sustains, and empowers.

THE KINGDOM MAN’S CREED

I am a Kingdom Man. I am created by God to bear His image. I am a son and viceroy for my Fathers work. I am a warrior, lover, teacher and king.

I am a Kingdom Man. Like Joshua, I will be strong and courageous. I will train my mind and body for the battles to come. I will discipline my heart, eyes and tongue to be steadfast and faithful to the calling on my life.

I am a Kingdom Man. If a husband, I love and serve my wife, if a father, a loving father to my children. I will love and lead them as Christ loves the Church. If a brother, uncle, guardian, mentor or friend, I will give honor in all of my relationships. I will lead, teach, correct and train in the spirit of righteousness.

I am a Kingdom Man. I am called to break down barriers and free others from strongholds. I am a Peace Maker. My armor is Truth, Righteousness, Grace and Humility. I will stand in the gap for my neighbor to defend gospel justice for the marginalized.

I am a Kingdom Man. God is my provider. He has given me gifts and talents to exemplify Him with the work of my hands. I will work with diligence and excellence. My labor will be honest and its fruits purposeful.

I am a Kingdom Man with a Kingdom vision. Commissioned by Christ. My life is the Father’s. I am intentional. I will grow in my faith, be consistent in my actions and leave a legacy worthy of the race I have run.

I AM a Kingdom Man!
