There is something powerful about going into work, being in person and actively engaging than sitting behind a keyboard or social media messaging someone. Have you noticed you tend to get results and action from those that you “box talk” with? What is box talking you wonder? It is where you consider the needs of the person you are requesting an action from, before your own. Or simply put, the other person becomes more important and valued rather than your needs. It’s a shame that we can’t remember someone’s name and have such short attention spans and memory, to pause and genuinely hold a conversation, and meet face to face without interrupting. Aren’t you glad that God doesn’t interrupt you mid prayer and be like “son you complain too much and are too needy”. Instead, he allows you to finish and meets you where you are. That why “it’s all about relationships” God’s way..
Battle Orders:
Electronic communication is fast but it is not genuine by itself. Walk around and talk to folks face to face, for a change, and learn how to box talk.
Amen. That’s an impactful face-to-face-to- face. As the Bible says, whenever two or more are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them also.
I go to a different church to pray in solitude everyday if possible. I left the U.S. for reasons I don't need to explain. I was praying in front of the holy Mary statue when I prayed out loud, "My brother you must change and repent or you will die in hell". Immediately the lights went out and I quickly stepped backward and said quickly, "Holy Father forgive me". The lights clicked back on immediately. Time frame less than 10 seconds.
Of course people say the power went out and back on. When was I praying for my brother with remorse for actions that I judged. Judge not less you be judged. I have made some very incredible degrees…
