“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)
As their Father, my children trust that I will take care of them without question because their faith in me to protect them, teach them, encourage them, and ultimately love them, comes from God’s love.
There is no way that exists for me, except through God’s embrace, to emulate a model where my family feels comfortable to be themselves. As I draw nearer to God, my family does not have to think or second guess if I love them; in return they draw nearer to God.
To live by faith and seek Him is the responsibility that God has given me as the head of my household- believing that God will work in my family’s hearts and their future even when I do not get to directly see it.
