Victory is not about winning, but about becoming.

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
~1 Corinthians 15:57
“You are created for victory!” This is a TJC cornerstone. But knowing you are created for victory and actually claiming that victory can feel miles apart at times. Often, that gap comes from chasing the win — a performance-based mindset that leaves us feeling cheated, unfulfilled, or unworthy.
But victory is more than winning. Champions know victory is about development. It’s a journey, not just a destination. As Kingdom men and Christ followers, victory hinges on what we’re willing to lose. We surrender everything to Jesus because He first gave everything for us. The good news is that claiming victory in the Kingdom is not based on how you feel, but on who God is and what He’s already done.
Remember — CHAMPS claim victory!
C: Claim His Promises – Memorize and pray (Joshua 21:45; 2 Corinthians 1:20)
H: Heal – Let the Holy Spirit do the work (John 14:26; Psalm 147:3)
A: Apply – Show visible fruit of what He has done (James 1:22; Matthew 7:20)
M: Mentor – Teach and disciple others (Matthew 28:19–20; 2 Timothy 2:2)
P: Persevere – Don’t give up; let trials build character and hope (James 1:3–4; Romans 5:3–4)
S: Shout – Celebrate and testify to the goodness of God (Psalm 47:1; Revelation 12:11)
This week, share your victory story with one person—and help them see theirs.
In the Kingdom, victory comes through surrender. The true victors are those who lose everything to Jesus. We give all to Him, we reflect Him, and we testify to His goodness.
