The title of this Battle Order might be a little misleading but it made me laugh a little too, so I kept it. 2021 with the Joshua commission has been a year of adding “tools to our toolboxes”. Some tools involved understanding our history while others taught us it is okay, even necessary, to wrestle with the most difficult cultural challenges of our day. We even sharpened some of these tools through disagreements and discussions as brothers. On the battlefields we moved our focus from the tools of spiritual warfare to the victory they promise. As we closed out the year we began to introduce you to some specific tools we have been using to draw closer to God in daily time alone with Him.
We stumbled, struggled and stretched as we did our imperfect best to invite you along in the journey of a Kingdom Man. It is often messy but we love it. With some new tools now introduced and available to you we challenge you to sharpen those tools and make them truly effective in your own journey as a Kingdom Man. A short Daily Battle Order is limited in what it can do, but the opportunity to join us and go deeper is here.
DAILY BATTLE ORDER
Use this week like so many of us do and set some specific goals to sharpen your Kingdom Man skills in 2022.
Commit to join us on one, or all, of the three battlefields where we gather. Nothing sharpens like being face to face with a group of brothers.
Make a commitment to join one of our cohorts by getting into an Every Man a Warrior group.
Gut up and share these DBOs with your neighbor to start a conversation.
If you let your tools get dull, like Ecclesiastes 10:10 says, you will simply find life more difficult. However if you learn new skills and accumulate, and sharpen, new tools we are promised success. We want you to succeed as a Kingdom Man. We are here to help if you want to sharpen any of your Kingdom Man skills in 2022.
