“The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.” Revelation 8:7 (NIV)
“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.”
As a young man/kid growing up I would often type this phrase over and over to learn how to type.
(The original words, from Patrick Henry, were a call to arms to America’s Revolutionary War.)
We are at war today ...The Kingdom is at war and our weapon is God’s word and one of our quietest enemies is T I M E.
The other day a friend told me that his brother’s wife was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer…so I naturally asked if he or his sister had reached out to the brother or his wife, I was stunned by their malaise in their approach and how they could easily “put-off” the engagement that was necessary.
By the time the first angel sounds his trumpet, it will be too late to save many of our loved ones, as there will come hail and fire mixed with blood, with a third of the earth burned up as well as all the green grass and a third of the trees.
Guys: Hear the call that is sounding now!
We need to get off our keisters and speak truth to those around us with a sense of urgency. We have a “target-rich“ environment as the time of Christ’s coming draws nigh. The announcement of his coming begins with a “scorched earth policy” …and too late for our mission then.
Daily Battle Order:
Your mission, if you choose to accept, it is to properly identify your battle fronts and engage those in need.
Starting with your family and those closest to you, pray to be led by the Holy Spirit for the words, the approach that will bless them and lead them to a real relationship with Christ – all to His Glory.
Also, plan on joining TJC on the Battlefield, this 27APR at Chickamauga or this 11MAY at Gettysburg. This year spouses are encouraged to join us on the Battlefields. Registration & more at https://www.joshuacommission.org/ .
