Fresh Coffee pressing into God

“who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭103‬:‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

That hot dark amber liquid poured into my rambler mug is much more enjoyable these days. I’ve come a long way from drinking my coffee sweet with fake creamer. You know you have to change it up, when your future wife likes her coffee straight-no chaser. The interesting thing about coffee is that there are many varieties and variations on how to roast, brew, and drink it, that it gets downright ridiculous. 

I prefer my coffee simple, and where I can sip and spend time with God; pressing into His word and meditating on all he has given me;

- Three young warriors that will have to fight like hell to take back this country’s God-forsaken values

- My two aussies that can walk off leash because of Godly dominion and respect for one another

- And my beautiful queen, who is a blessing from the Lord and has helped provide these abundances of joy. Immediately after childbirth she was with me through a recent diagnosis/operation with testicular cancer. She is by my side as I serve in the armed forces

. 

This is how I’m renewed in Christ daily. I don’t miss a cup with God. Nothing else satisfies me.

Daily Battle Order:

I didn’t get to this type of joy in my spirit overnight because I wanted to live life my way and create my own rules, I tried that and it failed. . Now I have a family and am committed to living under God's authority, I am the light of my family!

Happy 4th of July; we pray that you enjoy our freedom as Americans. God is our source of freedom, and has blessed us with an incredible country and it's our responsibility to renew it for the generations that will follow us. We must teach others to live under his authority.
